Appointments can be requested by the General Practitioner through the Choose and Book system, or alternatively via the traditional written referral letter.

As the national postgraduate teaching centre for ENT and a centre of excellence, we receive many tertiary referrals and requests for second opinions, and are accustomed to dealing with difficult and complicated cases.

The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital is internationally renowned and is the national postgraduate teaching centre for ENT Surgery, offering an unrivalled depth and breadth of expertise. It includes a large and active Audiological Medicine department and the Nuffield Centre for children with hearing problems.It is currently part of University College Hospital NHS Trust. It is served by excellent bus, tube and British Rail links, with Kings Cross station just around the corner.
